PEP screening that shows the whole career
Find politically exposed persons and see what made them one — every position they held and when, their family ties and the companies they direct — so your team can judge the risk, not just the label.
Every position, with its dates
Someone who left office ten years ago and someone sworn in last month are different risks. Each position comes with its start and end, and the ones still held say so.
Illustrative — a fictional career.
The people and companies around a PEP
Where the source data records them, a PEP’s relatives and directorships come with the record — so the people and companies close to them are visible from the first match.
- Family relationships, named and labelled — spouse, child, sibling.
- Companies the person is a director of.
- Screen any of them in their own right as an individual or a company.
Where PEP data comes from
Among others — the Sources page in your console lists every source your account screens against, by country.
What teams ask about PEP screening
Something we haven’t covered? Ask us — we’ll answer for your case.
Do you classify PEPs by tier or type?
No. The record shows the positions a person held, with dates, so your team can apply its own risk classification rather than someone else’s.
Are relatives covered?
Where the source data records them, a PEP’s family relationships come with the record. You can also screen each relative in their own right.
Are former PEPs included?
Positions that have ended are shown with their end dates, and the ones still held say so — so you can see at a glance whether someone is still in office.
Political names are often common. How do we avoid noise?
Add a workflow: date of birth and country narrow a common name before it reaches review, and a detail you don’t send is simply skipped.
