AMLPRO logo – AML screening software
Workflow Builder

You write the matching rules. Every search follows them.

Build your screening policy on a canvas: the name match first, then date of birth, country or passport number, each wired to include or exclude. You decide what happens when a record doesn’t carry a field.

Pick what it screens. The workflow you save covers every Individual search, for the whole team.

How it works

How a workflow decides

The name match finds the candidates. Every one of them then walks your steps in order, and leaves either included or excluded.

  • Match — the record agrees with what you sent
  • No match — it disagrees, and goes where you wired it
  • No value — there was nothing to compare

From an empty canvas to a running workflow

In the console, under Create Workflow. Six steps, and the workflow is running.

  1. 01

    Pick what it screens

Individual, Company, Organization or Adverse media. The workflow you save covers every search of that type, for your whole team.

  2. 02

    Start from the name

The name step is already on the canvas. Everything you add comes after it.

    1 · Name match
  3. 03

    Add your steps

Drag one in from the steps available, add it on the end, or insert it between two. Remove any step except the name.

  4. 04

    Wire each outcome

For every step, choose where a match goes and where a non-match goes: the next step, Include in results, or Exclude from results.

  5. 05

    Decide what “no value” means

Per step: carry on to the next step unchanged, or return the record so someone looks at it.

No value → carry onNo value → return
  6. 06

    Save it

Saving is all it takes — there’s no separate switch. The next search of that type runs under it. Undo and redo work while you build.

Fail-open

When there is nothing to compare, the record stays

A workflow only drops a candidate when a step actually ran, on a value you actually sent, and disagreed. In screening, a missed match costs far more than an extra one to review.

You sent no value

The step has nothing to compare, so it’s skipped and the record carries on. Leaving out a date of birth narrows nothing.

Skipped · carries on

The record has no value

Your no-value rule for that step decides. Only two choices exist — excluding the record is deliberately not one of them.

Carry onReturn itExclude

An outcome goes nowhere

Leave a step’s outcome unconnected and a record that reaches it is kept. An unfinished workflow can’t quietly hide results.
